Victoria’s Saanich Police target the iPod generation to take advantage of Canada’s first podcasting police, and among the first in the world online multimedia to keep in touch with the community.
What
go for a police prompted’s Web 2.0? There is a new and innovative technology developed DailySplice.com called Splice Stations. A Splice Station is a podcast for organizations that collect it easy to find, make and broadcast multimedia through their website. In other words, it makes social media so simple that even the police are in.

The police has already prepared over 50 media clips of safety tips from the surveillance videos of unsolved crimes. These clips start to record on their website along with regular updates, local media over the phone by the Department public information officer Sgt. The University of Victoria has two Splice Stations, one that plays business podcasts, and one that plays Software Engineering podcasts started. Both Stations combine content that was developed by the University of Victoria with related content that is found elsewhere in the world produces.
