so this only works for the 1st and 2nd generation iphones? not the newest one?
also what is the diff between unlock and jailbreak…i know this shows how to make it so it works with different carriers but what about free internet and wifi?? is that already all set?
im just wondering because someone wants to sell me a slightly used 2nd generation for 400 and he is going to jailbreak and unlock it but i think i could just do it myself. Any suggestions?

hey everything works except when I download the firmware it shows on my desktop as a winrar. I extracted and I got a folder it does not look like that cube looking icon . when I try to jailbreak it does not detect the firmware if I browse I click on the folder and it does not have any “firmware bundles” so I cannot click no next… I have downloaded different firmware links including yours and its all the same…PLEASE help.

I’ve had the first iphone when it came out, now the 3g. i so badly want the iphone4. and i always jailbreak my iphones which means that you could do so much more. and with about 100k apps, there are so many things you can do.
