Question by harry…: Does a second generation ipod touch charger work for a first gen one?
I bought an ipod touch first generation of ebay and it did not come with a charger. I am able to get a charger for a second generation of the iPod – but it would be for my work?

Yes, the charger will work for your iPod. I use my friends iPod Touch charger to charge my nano when i’m at her place and it works fine.

Normally you charge your iPod via USB cable (the same you use to connect to iTunes). You can also buy a charger of eBay and to be on the safe site, just ask the seller if it works with the first generation, as it differs.
If its the computer charger tht comes wit every ipod
it will work but if its a wall charger the new ipods might nott be supportrd
ipod chargers are universal, meaning that any charger will work for any upod. The one exception is the shuffle because of the size it needs an adapter. I have an ipod mini and an 4th generation ipod nano and my mom has a 6th generation classic and we just use each others chargers. Same with iPhones, they can be charged with an ipod usb charger as well.
