hey brandon, every time i download the firmware restore 4.0.ipsw on my computer it shows up as a blank file. i redownloaded it 5 times now and its still showing up as a blank file. im using windows 7. do u have any solutions to the problem?

And i can tell everybody with the spirit program, u just connect u ipod in your pc and start the program and press jailbreak… and its jailbroken:D

Does this work for 4.0.2. And yes 3.1.2 is 2nd gen. But not always.

@flamingwafflez21 it gets you cydia which can give you third party apps that allow you to do things that apple won’t allow you to do… like free games, free music, customize everything,… its legal as long as you only do the things that don’t steal from anyone… like you can customize and its fine but downloading music or apps from the app store for free is illegal…. (however pretty much everyone does it)

@CutterBugTv No need really, but I always like to put mine at least in a case. Scratches are less of a problem than the touch.
i have a question, does this really need a case and/or screen protector? Planning on buying one(hate the new 6th generation) and going to get one from amazon.com and I heard that it smudges really easily, is that true? I’m not a big fan of protective cases but if this thing scratches a lot then I’ll have to get a case. So does it just scratch moderately or does it scratch like the back of the ipod touch,lol?
