Released in July 2004, the Fourth generation iPod has to wheel of the iPod Mini and had a hold switch to redesign. There were two versions of this particular iPod a blue two-color backlit LCD display (pictured) and a color version called the iPod Photo. They came with either 20GB or 40GB hard drive-based capacity, dock connector (dock was with the 40 GB version included), improved better battery life, FireWire interface and supports AAC, AIFF, MP3 and WAV audio formats, no video . Playback modes including playlist, to repeat an ad every track, shuffle, shuffle.
